The effective radiated power (ERP) of an RF transmission system with a coaxial cable feed refers to the actual power of a signal as it leaves the system's antenna. Expressed in watts, the ERP is defined as the sum of transmitter power output (TPO) and transmission system gains, minus system losses.

Instructions
Calculating Total Loss
1)Visit an online database of coaxial cable losses at various signal frequencies. See Resources for a direct link.
